Google Assistant is coming to your Android phone soon

On the heels of LG G6's official unveiling at MWC today — which, in case you didn't know already, is the first non-Pixel phone to come with Google Assistant out of the box — Google announced that the smarts of its AI assistant will be gracing more phones in the very near future.

Starting this week, smartphones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Android 7.0 Nougat will be getting an OTA update for Google Play Services that will enable Google Assistant.
