Uncertainty looms over WWDC 2020 as Santa Clara bans mass gatherings

Apple might suffer yet another blow after the Public Health Department in Santa Clara issued a ban on mass gatherings in the County for at least three weeks, effective March 9, reports. The culprit is again the coronavirus, with 43 confirmed cases in the area until now and one death, leading to the ban.

WWDC is one of the biggest events on Apple’s calendar, gathering thousands of developers in San Jose, California, every June.
