European Commission: Facebook And WhatsApp User Accounts May Have Been Automatically Linked Since 2014

The European Commission accused Facebook of lying about not having the technical capability to auto-match WhatsApp and Facebook users since 2014, when the merger of the two companies was approved. Facebook could be fined $180 million.
