Google prepping a fix for the Double-tap to wake bug on the Pixel and Pixel XL?

We've told you all about the speaker bug that appears to afflict the Google Pixel and the Google Pixel XL. With the volume cranked up, the Pixel and Pixel XL's speakers suffer from static and distortion. We told you about a workaround that involves flashing a custom ROM, but we also found out that Google has now acknowledged the issue. In other words, sit tight and a software update will soon rid the new Google designed phones of this problem.
