Google's Gboard app exceeds 500 million downloads in the Play store

It's been two weeks since Google redesigned its keyboard application for Android devices and republished it under a different name in the Play store. Now Gboard, formerly known as Google Keyboard, has exceeded 500 million installs.

Of course Gboard did not registered 500 million downloads in just two weeks, but the most recent major update released by Google was enough to push it past that incredible milestone.

With more than 120 languages supported, GIF and emoji support, as well as glide and voice typing, Gboard is among the most complete and powerful keyboard applications for Android ...
