Microsoft shuts down Lumia photography Instagram account

“Shot on My Lumia” was a cool Instagram page where Microsoft showcased awesome photos taken by Lumia owners from all over the world. We are saying “was”, because the page is soon to be shut down by the company.

The idea will apparently live on, however, as Microsoft plans to merge the “Shot on My Lumia” page with its main Lumia Instagram account. Although the photos will not be as plentiful, Lumia shutterbugs will still be able to share their shots with the world, according to the official statement published on the matter:
