Report says that Apple AirPods production has increased to keep up with strong demand

Apple's wireless earphones, the Bluetooth powered AirPods, are a hit. Despite a two-month delay (or perhaps because of a two-month delay) demand has been raised to a fever pitch. That really isn't surprising if you think about it. The AirPods are perfect for those with a handset that lacks a 3.5mm earphone jack, which means that millions of Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus users are potential customers for the product. It all adds up to what Apple CEO Tim Cook calls "A runaway success."
