The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is poised to receive an update to Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone surfaced in the GFXBench database running the latest version of Android, which means the update is in testing and being primed for a release in the near future. Samsung has already published beta builds of Android Nougat for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, so it's highly likely that the Active will receive a Nougat update around the same time they do.
