Google releases May security patch for Nexus and Pixel devices

The first day of May marks not just the beginning of the month, but also the release of the next security patch for Android devices. Google has just published the factory images and OTA files, which include the May security patch.

The following devices will receive Android 7.1.2 update with the May security patch: Pixel XL, Pixel, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player and Pixel C. The Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 get the security update with Android 7.1.1.
