Google has just confirmed that two of its most popular streaming services will be merged to provide a single, more advanced experience. While this isn't the first time that we hear about a possible merger between Google Play Music and YouTube Red, it's the first time that an official confirmed the information.
Googler Lyor Cohen said during a panel session at the New Music Seminar conference in New York that his company has to merge these two services in order to educate customers and increase the number of subscribers.
