Samsung pushes out July security update to Galaxy S5

A new update has started rolling out for Samsung's 2014 flagship - the Galaxy S5. The patch contains the Android security update for the month of July and should bump the build number of the S5 to G900FXXU1CQG1.

While Samsung probably won't dish out any significant Android updates to this phone as it's more than 2 years old, it's nice to see that the company at least provides security updates on a semi-regular basis. The last time the S5 got patched was in April when it received the security update for the month of March.
