Late last evening, we told you that Verizon had started accepting pre-orders for the Asus ZenFone AR. This is the first handset that not only features Tango-styled augmented reality capabilities, but also carries the Project Daydream Virtual Reality platform. The handset is priced at $27 a month for 24 months, or it can be bought on retail for $648. In addition, Verizon is now offering the Asus ZenPad Z8s tablet. An exclusive to Verizon, the slate can be bought at a price of $10.41 over 24-months. With a signed two-year contract, the ZenPad Z8s is priced at $149.99. Or, you can pay $249.99 on retail.
