While the iPhone 8 (or X, or Edition, or whatever Apple calls it) may come as a boon to parts suppliers, with some of them "expected to see their iPhone revenue almost double this year," it is also a challenge to develop and produce for everyone involved which may lead to initial supply bottlenecks. While that notion has been entertained multiple times already, today we are seeing a worrying iPhone 8 release delay report straight from the Korean supply chain, and very close to the announcement date of September 12.
