Blast from the past: Netflix launches new Android app for renting movies on DVD

In an era of streaming when almost everything is connected to the Internet, Netflix announced a new application that allows customers to rent DVD and Bluray discs with their favorite movies and TV shows.

Netflix DVD promises intermediate the delivery of any DVD and Bluray discs in the database (free shipping included). For a monthly flat fee that starts at $4.99, subscribers can get as many of discs they want and for how long they need (no late fees).
