AT&T expands its "sponsored data" program that is everything net neutrality is not

The other day, we told you that according to the Federal Register, "The Restoring Internet Freedom Order" will go into force on April 23rd. Forget the misleading name. This is the order that ends net neutrality and allows carriers and ISPs to charge different prices for different content streamed over their networks. It also allows them to throttle some content and charge consumers more for programmingt sent over the "special (wink, wink) wire."

Look, it isn't even April yet and already AT&T has expanded its "sponsored data" program to pre-paid subscribers. With this program, companies ...
