Apple announces a new $329 iPad with Apple Pencil support

Apple has just introduced a new iPad model. The new tablet is a successor to Apple's current entry-level model, and the biggest new feature is full support for Apple Pencil.

This new, affordable iPad is targeted at the education environment, which is why Apple's key tactic here was to enable support for the Pencil, and also add new features to the Pages, Numbers, and Keynote productivity suite, including a smart new markup feature with the Pencil.
