Google Assistant can now control over 5,000 devices

Back in January, Google Assistant had support for only around 1,500 third-party devices, but that number has grown to over 5,000 since then, the company announced in a recent blog post. The announcement was made as a part of a post on how to create an automated smart home that also serves as a lead-up to Google's upcoming, annual I/O conference.
