Back in June, Huawei-owned Honor unveiled a new software enhancement for its smartphones known as GPU Turbo. The update, which essentially diverts power to the GPU in the hope of improving performance, is aimed primarily at fans of mobile gaming and seems to have proven quite popular since its launch. But now it looks as though Honor and parent company Huawei may soon be facing some competition.
In what could be a direct answer to the successful marketing campaigns that have surrounded GPU Turbo in China, Qualcomm has teased the unveiling of its own alternative via its official Weibo account. ...
