The Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus were the first iOS handsets equipped with 3D Touch. The feature allows users to "peek" into an app with a slightly heavier than normal touch on the screen. A heavy touch will "pop" the user right into the app. It also can be used to more easily perform other tasks. Earlier this year, highly regarded analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will not sport 3D Touch because of an extra layer of thin film required for the display.
