Don't bother asking Alexa where you can buy an Amazon Echo device. The cloud based information gatherer would probably tell you that the Echo is out of stock at Amazon until January 21st. There is some good news. Amazon will honor the current 22% sale on pre-orders. This means that you can reserve an Amazon Echo device for $139.99. If you absolutely need to have an Amazon Echo device now, you just might luck out at Best Buy, Lowe’s, Staples, Sears and Toys 'R' Us. Amazon bookstores in Portland, Oregon; San Diego, California and Seattle Washington are also said to have a few units hidden away.
