Android's security update for January is coming next week?

Feeling a little insecure? You have no need to be. Android's security update for January will be rolling out as soon as next week. In fact, Verizon's support page shows that the Pixel and Pixel XL could be receiving the update as soon as January 3rd. The build number for it is NMF26U. Unlike the previous month's security update for the two Google-designed phones, the file sizes should be much smaller. December's update included Android 7.1.1.
