Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 could receive Android 7.0 Nougat update very soon

Last week a Galaxy Tab S2 running Android 7.0 Nougat was spotted in a benchmark database suggesting that Samsung might eventually offer those who own the tablet the option to upgrade to the latest version of the OS.

More recently, the Galaxy Tab S2 visited Wi-Fi Alliance, the organization that certifies Wi-Fi products. What makes this newsworthy is the fact that the slate certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

There are six Galaxy Tab S2 variants that have been certified at Wi-Fi Alliance, all running Android 7.0 Nougat: SM-T817 (international), SM-T817P (Sprint), ...
