
The TestFlight app is at the core of the conception of apps on the App Store and gives developers different means to receive feedback on software they made, prior to releasing their works. Apple acquired the company behind TestFlight back in 2014, at a time when the app was intended to serve as a single platform for both iOS and Android app developers. Cupertino then naturally slashed the project’s relationship with Android and turned it into an iOS-dedicated app testing medium.
