Now that Google released Android 8.0 Oreo, handset makers can start updating a big chunk of their smartphones to the new version of the OS. Unfortunately, it might take at least a few months until a company will start the Android 8.0 Oreo roll-out, so chances are that a new device might ship with the new OS before an older one could be updated.Although Google is expected to announce its new Pixel smartphones on October 5, these devices might not hit the shelves right away. On the other hand, the Mate 10 could be Huawei's first smartphone to ship with Android 8.0 Oreo on board.
