Huawei kicked off the Android 8.0 Oreo roll-out for the Mate 9 last month, but the update wasn't released in the United States. If you happen to rock an unlocked Huawei Mate 9 and live in the US, you'll soon be able to update your phablet to Android 8.0 Oreo.The update is now being rolled out to Huawei Mate 9 units with model numbers MHA-L29 and L09, which support GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. There's little information on the contents of the update, but you'll get EMUI 8.0 for sure along with most of the new Android Oreo features and improvements.
