Amazon today introduced a Kids Edition of its hockey puck shaped smart speaker, the Amazon Echo Dot. This smart speaker is definitely designed to grab kids' attention with colors that resemble a candy coating. And a special kid-friendly version of Alexa is, in Amazon's words "a kid-friendly DJ, comedian, and storyteller." This age-appropriate Alexa is for younger ears, and will reinforce positive behavior by acknowledging when kids say "please" and "thank you."
