Confirmed: You will be able to disable the OnePlus 6 notch... eventually

OnePlus' decision to adopt an iPhone X-like notch on its upcoming OnePlus 6 rustled a lot of jimmies from the company's fanbase, which took it to the OnePlus forums to dissect the matter at hand. 

Obviously, the company has kept an ear close to the ground as co-founder Carl Pei recently chimed in, revealing that users will be able to disable and black out the display area around the notch for a more traditional display appearance:
