Samsung to scrap Gear VR branding in favor of Galaxy VR name

After years of creating a virtual reality hardware lineup around the Gear VR branding, a new report from SamMobile suggests the South Korean company has had a change of heart, with future products set to be known as “Galaxy VR.”
