The new OnePlus 6T in-display finger scanner works even under a heavily scratched Gorilla Glass 6

Just like its spiritual parent the Oppo R17 Pro, the OnePlus 6T sports a 6.4" display with waterdrop notch and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It upgrades the chipset to Snapdragon 845 from 710 in the R17 Pro, but downgrades the camera kit for that matter. Both devices sport one and the same in-display fingerprint reader, though, which OnePlus claims to be the fastest such scanner currently on the market.
