T-Mobile sweeps the OpenSignal report, finishing number one across the board


Last week, we passed along information showing that Verizon once again took home the top awards in RootMetrics annual report. While AT&T took second place, T-Mobile finished last among the major U.S. carriers for the first half of 2017. That seems to go against T-Mobile's constant reminders that it has the fastest 4G speeds in the country. In fact, since Verizon added unlimited service, T-Mobile has made a point of noting the decline Big Red has had with its average 4G LTE download speeds. Sure enough, a different test using a different methodology has a different result.
