Microsoft expands Cortana functionality on Android lock screens

Since Cortana made its way to Android devices, users have been asking for many new features and improvements. According to Microsoft, the ability to interact with Cortana directly from the lock screen was among the most requested features.

After adding the ability to get Cortana on the lock screen earlier this month, so users could swipe and see what's got for them for the day, Microsoft announced that interaction with Cortana above the lock is now possible.

Cortana users will now be able to get answers to their questions, set a reminder and more without having to unlock their Android ...
