We've been betting that the Note 8 may have a dual camera setup based on Samsung's investments in Core Photonics, and some more hints that we've already analyzed. Last week, when a couple of leaked schematics allegedly depicted a possible Note 8 design, there was no show or mention for what will be on the back of the device, but today a patent filing by Samsung in Korea sheds some light on the eventual dual camera module that Samsung is working on.
It depicts two sensor/lens combos, housed in a thin chassis, and says this can be used for collecting more photons to improve low-light ...
