HTC Edge Sense spotted: the buttonless HTC phone still possible?

Before HTC announced the U Ultra and U Play, we used to get rumors about a mystery HTC Ocean (or Ocean Note) device, which would allegedly have a buttonless design, and a UI with contextual touch controls to make up for that. Sounds like a thing from the future, doesn't it?

Well, when HTC took the stage to announce its brand-new shiny marbles of smartphones, no revelation about such software changes was made. Was the rumor mill wrong on this one?
