Verizon pushes a software updates to the Galaxy S6, s6 edge, S6 edge+, and Note 5: Here's what's new


Verizon today is pushing a new software update for the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, and Galaxy Note 5, which aims to fix the notorious KRACK vulnerability that enables wrongdoers to meddle with your phone by abusing flaws in Wi-Fi security policies.

The firmwares that are being pushed to eligible devices are as follows: N920VVRS3CQK1 for the Note 5, G920VVRS4DQK1 for the S6, G925VVRS4DQK1 for the S6 edge, and G928VVRS3CQK1 for the S6 edge+.
