Galaxy S10 5G reportedly catches fire, Samsung says there's been 'external damage'

While Korean media vents that Chinese phone makers are all coming out with 5G models, and some like Xiaomi are even able to make them for half the price of their local equivalents from Samsung or LG, the more worrying story today is that a Galaxy S10 5G has reportedly caught fire all on its own.

Samsung's first 5G handset went on sale in Korea a few weeks ago, and is about to land on Verizon on May 16. A buyer in Korea is reporting that it's been just six days of use, and the S10 5G started emitting smoke while being at the desk. The user grabbed it and threw it on the ground, ...
