Apple has been giving Zoom special treatment - the only app with iPad camera multitasking

As of last year, Apple's iPads have not only supported Zoom in Split View mode, but the Zoom camera remains fully functional while multitasking. This is not a feature any other camera-using app enjoys, as we find out.
