Nokia 3 Received The All New Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Update

Android Oreo

It’s a happy moment for all Nokia 3 users as it has now received the update for newest version of Android operating system “Android 8.0 Oreo” in Beta mode.

Nokia 3 is one of the affordable smartphones launched with Android 7.0 Nought at Rs 9,499 in June, last year. It has a 5-inch HD display and comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB on board storage and a 2650 mAh battery.

The Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas at the company’s pre-MWC 2018 press conference on Sunday revealed the arrival of the new Android update in Nokia 3 smartphone.

According to the sources, the beta update of Android 8.0 Oreo may also be received soon by Nokia 2 smartphone users.

According to a screenshot posted by a Twitter user, the Android Oreo beta update for the Nokia 3 is around 1.6 GB in size and includes core Android 8.0 Oreo features such as Picture-in-Picture mode, Notification dots, Update to Google Security Patch 2018-2, Google Play Protect security scans, Autofill passwords, and Faster boot up.

Finally, to install Android Oreo beta update to your Nokia 3, you need to enter the Nokia Beta Labs and then provide your IMEI number for an approval. Once approved, you’ll get a notification for the update that will help you download the update package.

That’s all about this new Android update to your Nokia 3. You’ll have to use a WiFi connection to download the update and it’s highly recommended to backup up all your user data as it’s a beta version update. However, you can anytime revert back to Android Nougat, but all user data will be erased on downgrading.
