Samsung is reportedly deploying yet another update for some of its top-tier smartphones, such as the Galaxy S8/S8+ and Galaxy Note 8. The new firmware updates the Always On Display (AOD) feature on all three smartphones and introduces support for GIF files.Although GIF support for AOD was present inside these phones since their launch, the GIF files displayed were static. The latest update is meant to correct that issue and animate all GIF files that you now set to show up on your display when Always On Display is enabled.
