Google sells more smart speakers than Amazon for the first time ever

For the first time ever, Google Home speakers have sold more than Amazon Echo devices. The twist happened in the first quarter of 2018, and although Amazon remains the overall leader in the smart speaker market, Google is quickly catching up.
