AT&T reportedly set to raise DirecTV Now subscriptions by $5 a month for all plans

What is happening with AT&T these days? No sooner does it close on its acquisition of Time Warner, than a California assemblyman backed by the carrier added amendments to a net neutrality bill in the state assembly essentially killing the bill for now. Then came word that the carrier had closed its eyes to a scheme by managers at several AT&T retail stores. Using  questionable tactics, these managers allegedly pressured reps into signing up trial subscriptions to the Direct TV Now streaming app.
