IDC has revealed some interesting statistics with its latest report. According to the analytics firm, handset manufacturers shipped a total of 347.4 million units globally in Q1 2017, which is a 4.3% increase from the 332.2 million units shipped during the same period for last year.
The information indicates that Samsung has recovered successfully from the Note 7 fiasco, as the South Korean company managed to oust Apple from the top spot by shipping 79.2 million units for the first three months of this year. ...
